New partnership with The Mercury Pheonix Trust

We’re really excited about The Mercury Pheonix Trust choosing to work with us to address COVID-19 related disruption of HIV services and rising levels of child abuse in Zambia.

Our pilot project will build resilience and self-confidence by boosting HIV prevention and knowledge of reproductive health and sexual rights amongst 1,100 at-risk students from two deprived communities in Lusaka through HIV testing, drama workshops and community-based psychosocial counselling.

The Mercury Pheonix Trust was founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and their manager, Jim Beach, in memory of rock band Queen’s iconic lead singer Freddie Mercury who died in 1991 from AIDS.
