Vital funding from donor institutions supports our mission to help every child in Zambia achieve their potential. We work with governments and institutions to design sustainable projects based on solid evidence, and our work transforms lives and builds sustainable communities in Zambia. This work would not be possible without generous support from governments and institutions.
Aid from the UK people
At present we are working with the UK Aid Direct’s Small Charities Challenge Fund on a two-year project to help girls remain in the classroom and beat period poverty.
Aid from Guernsey
In 2019 we received a commitment from Guernsey Overseas Aid and Development Commission to support development work at Twavwane Community School in a particularly deprived area of Lusaka. This funding will help secure the school site, reducing vandalism and theft, as well as provide new toilets and an improved water supply.
